Well, the snow stopped, so campus was open today, and I got into the class I wanted! Oh, happy day! ^^

It's snowing like crazy up here! Classes seem to be cancelled for the most part, though I don't know about mine yet, nothing's open and everyone's skidding off the roads. Becky has chains for her tires, so we figure once she gets up, we might take a little drive downtown, find a hill and go snowboarding. :3

We haven't opened Christmas presents yet, because we're busy visting my aunt and uncle, but we did get an unexpected gift. My mom and aunt were walking to the store when a little black kitten ran straight into their path. The poor thing was starving, so they brought it home, and mom and I decided to keep it. Well, while everyone else was preparing thanksgiving dinner, I was eating it. And while everyone else was eating thanksgiving dinner, I was attending Cirque du Soleil. Alegria was playing in San Francisco. We went. It was incredible. Now I'm dazed and tired and home again.

My computer has been being wonky for a little while, so I checked the system error log and nearly had a hard attack. The system is having problems writing to the drive, so I ran a check disk through DOS, but it couldn't fix it. My hard drive is officially dying ( Read more... )

The girls downstairs from us apparently like blasting Christina Aguilera at top volume. As revenge, we dragged my stereo over to the front door and we're blasting Rage Against the Machine as high as my stereo can go...which is pretty high. It has really nice bass, too.
